MCS Umbrella Scheme for Installers
Let Glow take care of the accreditation, design and paperwork — you focus on installation.
Heat Pumps for Installers
As an MCS‑accredited umbrella scheme provider, The Glow Group empowers installers to deliver fully certified heat pump projects — without the burden of managing accreditation or certification paperwork yourself.
Partner with us and benefit from technical support, design services, simplified claims, and a smoother route to MCS compliance.
Why choose Glow as Your Umbrella Partner?
- Hassle-free MCS compliance. You don’t need to maintain your own MCS accreditation. With our umbrella scheme, Glow handles the design, commissioning, certification and documentation process, ensuring your installations are fully compliant from start to finish.
- Full design and specification support. Our in-house engineers prepare system designs, schematics, load calculations, and detailed specifications tailored for each project. You’ll receive everything you need to install with confidence.
- Fixed, transparent packages. We offer fixed‑price packages covering design, supply, commissioning, and certification. No hidden fees. You quote with certainty, and your customers receive a full handover pack with the required documents.
- Grant & incentive management. We manage the process for government support schemes (e.g. the Boiler Upgrade Scheme), handling claims and paperwork so your customer enjoys the benefit — while you stay focused on your core job.
- Technical support when you need it. Our team is available via phone or online to help with troubleshooting, control settings, and commissioning. We also maintain a library of guides and documentation so you never feel stuck on site.
- Quality assurance and inspection. Once your installation is complete, a regionally assigned Glow engineer will inspect and commission the system, sign off the certification, and provide your customer with all the paperwork they need.
How it Works
Step 1
Join as a Partner Installer.
Complete our onboarding — you do not need your own MCS licence. We’ll bring you into our umbrella scheme.
Step 2
Send us your project details.
You submit the site survey, heat load, client preferences, and any unique constraints.
Step 3
We design and prepare your specification.
Glow engineers generate the heat pump system design, parts list, wiring diagrams, control scheme, and all needed documentation.
Step 4
You install with full support.
You carry out the physical installation using our design. When needed, call us for technical advice.
Step 5
Final commissioning & certification.
Our inspector comes to site (or if remote, as applicable), signs off, issues the certification, and hands over full documentation to you and your customer.
Step 6
Submit grant claims & complete compliance.
We take care of the paperwork for government grants or incentive payments where your customer is eligible.
